Background

Zendesk is a comprehensive customer service platform that enables businesses to manage and respond to customer inquiries efficiently. By integrating Zendesk as a source in real-time workflows, organizations can automatically process and analyze incoming support tickets, leading to improved response times and customer satisfaction.

Setup

  1. Access Admin Center: Log in to your Zendesk account and navigate to the Admin Center.

  2. Navigate to Webhooks: Click on "Apps and integrations" in the sidebar, then select "Actions and webhooks" followed by "Webhooks."

  3. Create a New Webhook: Click on "Create webhook."

  4. Configure Webhook:

  5. Name: Provide a descriptive name for the webhook.

  6. Endpoint URL: Enter the ProxyHook source endpoint URL obtained by creating a new "source" within ProxyHook.

  7. Request Method: Select "POST."

  8. Request Format: Choose "JSON."

  9. Set Up Triggers: Connect the webhook to specific triggers or automations that correspond to the events you want to monitor, such as the creation of new tickets.

  10. Save and Test: Save the webhook configuration and test it to ensure it functions as expected.
